Last weekend rather than just going to the mall to do the usual window shopping I opted to visit Mode De Vie Trunkshow to check all their unique items! It was an added bonus that one of the organisers, Neil San Pedro, was a good friend of mine.
First stop was fellow Interior Designer, Natalya Lagdameo, who showcased her antique jewellery line. I loved how her items had a story behind it. They had an eclectic feel in my point of view, mixing antique materials with modern techniques. Best part about these babies is that each one is unique!
Next stop was J Makitalo‘s elegant pieces! She explained to me how she had most of her inspiration from vikings! It’s wonderful to see how she turned this masculine concept and turned it into something so feminine!
Besides accessories, Maco Custodio, shoe designer , has graced us with his statement brogues. I asked him why shoes and he answered with “why not!”. His character is as bold as his designs!
And finally we have Lulu D gold tats which I think would really click for Cebu’s laid back feel!
Congratulations to Mode De Vie Trunkshow for a successful event! There’s another one coming up on December 5 -7. Still at the same venue, Aziza Restaurant above Tinder Box. Stay tuned!9
