Say Hello to my new Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0. It’s their ZE500KL unit and it’s jam packed with great new features. I had this with me for a couple of weeks already but before blogging about it I wanted to test it out just to see for myself what the fuss was about. Everyone knows I’m a very busy human being. Juggling a day job and this blog, adding Interior Design projects on the side can really be hectic. So, you can imagine how much I need a hardcore phone that can handle an overload of multitasking. Trying out the ZenFone 2 wasn’t a bad idea.
The sleek design is definitely something to boast about. It’s thin enough where I can easily slip into my pockets. And thanks to its perfect ergonomics I get the best grip on the phone since it has curved edges where I can easily pick it up every time it’s on a flat surface. It sure doesn’t hurt that they have sleek colors to choose from.
At the rear of the phone is an easy access button where it can easily be reached by your index figure which is conveniently the volume button of the phone and used taking selfies as well. Speaking of selfies, I think a good feature of this phone is the ZenMotion. Just by simply swipping a letter “C” on the screen this automatically brings you to launch your camera. It has a smooth performance with a non-lag interface.
Besides it’s various camera settings the Zenfone 2 has a 0.3 laser auto focus system which projects the fastest clarity in photos. The infrared measures the distance of the subject really quick so this allows a near-instant focus of your focal point.
I’ve been bringing this phone around with me with 2 sim cards from different networks since it has a dual sim setting and the battery usually lasts a day and a half. Not bad for a dual sim phone.
